What's new?

So I put my memory stick in the computer thinking there were more pictures that I could blog about but apparently I was wrong. So no pictures this time. Nolan graduated from pre-school and they had a huge graduation at the Quakes Stadium but Nolan didn't want to go. We went to his baseball game instead. Good for us I guess, I was told it was pretty long. There were over 300 kids that will be entering Kindergarten next year. Now with no school Nolan will be needing some activities. So I am working on having play dates scheduled at least a couple times a week. That kid has so much energy! Juliana is doing well in school. She reached MVP status on her AR tests or whatever the last level is. She is reading so well, we are so proud of her. This week Juliana has lots of fun activities scheduled at school like a buddy picnic, a luau, and a play day. She will also be performing in a dance recital. Dean is completely potty trained! What a big boy. He is such a good natured little boy full of life and smiles. We are so blessed with our three beautiful children! Should we have another???

Bug's Land

We went to see the 3D Bug's Land movie. We thought we looked pretty silly with our 3D glasses on. Juliana got scared when the bugs were trying to exterminate the audience. Nolan thought it was funny.

Hot day!

It was about 100 degrees and Heidi and I decided to take the kids to California Adventure to play in the water area of Bug's land. The kids had so much fun. After they got all wet we got to go on a lot of rides. We even went on Tower of Terror. I was terrified!! I thought the kids were going to start crying but instead at the end of the ride Nolan yells "that was awesome"! He is such a funny kid. We had a great time.

Nolan's birthday party

Can you say "we like to party"? Well we partied all month long. Nolan had a few friends over for a spider-man baseball themed party. They had fun playing musical chairs, pin the baseball cap on Nolan, and finding baseballs. Nolan is thankful to have such good friends. He was sad that his best bud and cousin couldn't make it but happy for those who came. Again I couldn't have done it without the help of my mom and dad. They are the best!

Easter Day

On Easter we went to Steve's parents house. His mom always makes a really delicious Easter dinner.

All of his brothers and sisters were there. Lily was the star of the night. She is so cute. The kids love their newest little cousin.

Easter Egg Hunt

The day before Easter Grammy and Papi came over with Abuelos and we had an Easter Egg hunt. The kids thought it really fun to find candy filled eggs! Dean loves Abuelo and had fun showing him each egg he found.

Easter Party

A friend from church invited the kids over to decorate eggs and baskets.

They had fun dying the eggs and playing with friends.

Aunt Carie

It was fun seeing aunt Carie again. She came from Indiana and was so excited to play with the kids. They had a lot of fun with her.

Dr. Steve

P.A. Steve at work. He had a big exam coming up and so he used his family to help him study. They were so great to let him practice on them. He was ready for his exam on Monday and he left about an hour before his exam time but there was an overturned semi on the freeway and was 20 minutes late to school. He called while on the freeway and they said that if there was anyone still there and they felt like being nice they would let him take the exam. At first he couldn't find anyone but then he finally found someone and the professor allowed him to take the test. That was a close one!

Kids birthday party

On Dean's 2nd birthday we had a family party for all three kids. We had hamburgers/hot dogs and some really yummy cake that my mom made. The kids were excited to have their family here they are so greatful to live close to family again. The kids found a bunch of rollie pollies and put them in plastic cups and played with them. They played hide and seek. Best of all they got a Wii from all their aunts and uncles and they were so excited!! One of their uncles set it up and started playing with it right away.

Juliana's birthday party

So Disneyland wasn't enough apparently. Juliana wanted to invite friends over for some makeovers. We had Sydney's mom do up-do's with some fake curly hair, we had nail painting by me and Aunt Nichole, and face painting by Grammy. The girls had such a fun time. The Roxy cake was made with love by her Auntie Nichole. Everything was so great thanks to all my friends/family who helped make it great!

Wow!

We can't believe that we ran into our neighbors and the kids best friends from Utah while at Disneyland. Nolan and Miles and Izzy and Juliana. What a small world!!

Disneyland with friends

So around 4pm Nichole and the kids left and my friends came. The kids were so excited to have their friends there for them. We went on Big Thunder and Matterhorn with them. The snowman monster was scary but overall they loved it. We were so exhausted by the end of the day but it was well worth it!

Disneyland

For Juliana's birthday we went to Disneyland. This is their first time there that they can remember. Everything was so big and exciting for them. Our first ride was the Pirate ride. The kids thought that was a little scary. Then we went on all the roller coaster's and they loved it! Their cousins came with us and they had a blast together.

Sprin Break

Spring Break was super early this year but we made the most of it. The weather was perfect. So we decided to take a trip to the beach. We went with Heidi, her kids, my sister-

in-law Nichole and her kids. The kids got along so well. They sat by the water for hours making things and having fun. It was hot and so much fun. For days after Dean said "beach" everytime we got in the car. So on the last day of Spring Break Steve and I took the kids to the beach again. And again it was a perfect beach day, that hardly ever happens.
